There are many different free work from home jobs you can do from home and start making some money. Simply, there are many telecommuting jobs that you can do working from home, and generating decent income. The best part about this is that you can do sell from home and generally work whenever you want; as long as you put it is the required amount of time each day, the company doesn't really care when you were.
Of course, having a work from home job is much different than having a work from home business. Many people don't really understand the difference between the two, so here's a quick definition and some helpful tips and information to help you decide which one is best for you.
A work from home job is where you simply work for a certain company doing a set of tasks that you're free to do, generally get paid either by the hour by salary. You don't really have a whole lot of opportunity to move up in your income.
With a work from home business, your income is virtually unlimited; however, it is much more uncertain. Therefore, your income is directly proportional to how much time and effort you put into it. You can literally earn as much or as little as you want.
Keep in mind, however, that having your work from home business is much more risky than having to work from home job, because your income is not guaranteed. Therefore, if you are not the risk-taking type, you will probably want a work from home job instead. Also, an advantage of having a job instead of a business is that they are almost always free to start up.
So what are some good free work from home jobs that you can do from home? There are many great resources to help you find work from home jobs. While I certainly can't go into all the different ways you can work from home, there are many ways you can find us out; simply typing in a quick search such as work from home jobs will help you find out this information.

Work From Home 24-Hours A Day? How's That Possible?
What? What do you mean work at home for 24-hours a day? You can't possibly do that! You barely have enough time to get your regular job done, and then spend a few moments maintaining your fledgling business - and still have a few spare moments for family and friends. It sometimes seems like you have bit off more than you can chew, but I think I might be able to show you how you can work from home 24-hours a day, and not really be working. It's called passive income. Sure you can work from home and you can put in an 8-hour day, or you can work on one project an hour a day, and have it make you money around the clock. How you ask? Here are three ways you can do it: 1.) Internet sales site - It doesn't matter what you are selling. If there is a market for it, and you have it on the Internet, then all the work from home you have to do is fill orders or make sure that the site is maintained. People all over the world are on the Internet 24-hours a day and that means you have a virtual store that is attracting sales constantly. For just a little bit of time each day, you can easily 'work from home' for 24-hours a day with an Internet sales site. 2.) Downloadable E-book - Find an information niche that needs to be filled and you can make a decent passive income as each book sells! Literally thousands of people have become instant 'authors' with the growth of the e-book industry. You don't have to be Stephen King or Nora Roberts to make a nice side income from an e-book. Yes, this is a work at home business - but all the work you have to do is: find a writer for the book (or write it yourself), build an attractive sales page, and then watch as the sales grow - along with your passive income! 3.) Affiliate Marketing - This is one of the buzz-phrases in work at home projects. This is literally becoming an affiliate store for certain products on the Internet - ranging from major stores like Wal-Mart or Target - to people just like yourself who are trying to build their marketing network. Affiliate marketing basically works by pointing different web users in the direction they want to go for product - basically a directional sign for the Internet. Once you direct a person to a specific site - if they buy, you collect a percentage of that sale. How easy is that? And they still call it 'work from home'! So, as you can see, it isn't as difficult to 'work' from home for 24-hours a day as you might have first imagined. It takes a little bit of business sense, and maybe some Internet savvy to get started - but after that, for a few hours of maintenance per week, you can generate income around the clock!
ABCs for the Work at Home Mom – Part 2
Work-at-home moms face many different challenges. From learning to accept help when needed, to building confidence in ourselves, to remembering the reasons why we chose to work from home. Below is the second in the series of tips to help work-at-home moms in the simplest of ways – the ABC’s. N = No - Work at Home Moms need to be able to say "No" when the situation calls for it. Don't be afraid to stand up for your business or to choose NOT to work with a customer who is more trouble than it's worth. O = Office - As Work at Home Moms, we usually put ourselves last on the list. However, when we're in business it's important to have some room (even a corner) that is set aside strictly for business. P = Priorities - It's hard to keep your priorities straight when raising a family and building a business. Take some time each week/month to sit down and evaluate your priorities and cut out things in your schedule that don't fit in. Q = Quiet Time - It may seem impossible to find a time to sit, relax and be quiet when you have so many demands on your time. However, it's more important than ever that you take a little time for yourself to rejuvenate and renew when you grow weary. R = Respect - Like the golden rule says, it's important to treat others as we'd like to be treated. This is so true for work at home moms - we must show the utmost in professionalism and treat even the most difficult clients with respect. S = Significant Other - As work at home moms it's easy to get wrapped up with our business, our kids, ourselves. Don't forget to take the time to appreciate your husbands! T = Time - As work-home-moms time is the ultimate enemy. :) Learn to prioritize and delegate whenever possible. Take time out for your kids each day - you'll be glad you did! U = Unique - Your business needs to be unique to stand out from the crowd. Even if your product isn't unique you can always find a unique way to approach marketing, customer service, etc. Get creative and stand out from the rest! V = Vision - It's so important to have a clear vision of where you want your business to go. Sit down and make a list of where you'd like to be in 5 years, in 10 years, etc. Without goals you won't get anywhere. W = Wisdom - It's important to seek wisdom when running your own business. You won't always know the answer, so you need to find others that you trust that you can turn to when these things arise. X = eXcitement - Celebrate each success! Keep yourself motivated and excited about your business. Try to share your business with someone new each day. Just telling someone about what you do can bring back that "spark" of excitement about your career! Y = Yes - Yes! You CAN do it! Each of us started with a dream, a vision and the faith that we could make it happen. It takes hard work, determination and a "Yes!" attitude, but it CAN be done! Z = Zoo - Yes, life as a work at home mom really is a zoo, but it's worth it! Being at home to see your child's first step, hear their first word - it just doesn't get better than that. Working from home can be difficult, but it is well worth the effort. By keeping things in perspective we can reduce the stress that we put on ourselves. Remember these ABC’s and you’ll go far in your work-at-home career.
Ten Reasons Why People Work From Home
In no particular order: 1) They do not want to have to drive and make a commute to their place of employment. Perhaps their old job required driving on a dangerous highway and they valued their life enough to not take that chance anymore. Gas is really expensive and that would definitely contribute to this reason. 2) They want to spend as much time with their family as possible. I was lucky enough to have a stay at home mother, but there are too many kids these days that are not as lucky as I was. Or perhaps they just want to be with the people they care for the most without having a job to constrict and limit their time spent together. 3) They hate their bosses/managers/etc. I remember being treated like garbage at my first job. I was expendable. The fact that I was young, nervous and naive meant nothing to my superiors. I was forced to work hours I did not enjoy while they had all the choices they wanted. Sound familiar? 4) They're lazy. They dream of living a life of leisure, or they just want to make a living while doing a minimal amount of work. 5) They want to explore other areas of life they would never have time for with a job, or they have a passion that they never have time for. Sports, fishing, gardening, computers, video games, martial arts, RC gliders...the list is endless. 6) They enjoy not having to wear some fancy (or ugly) uniform while they work. They're free to work in their underwear if they please, or they don't have to wear anything period while they work *insert laugh track here*. 7) They never have to feel like somebody is watching them while they work. They can screw around, listen to music, look up non-work related sites on the internet, or anything else that would be frowned upon in the work place. 8) They can eat whatever they want, whenever they want. No more being limited to breaks, no more cafeteria food (didn't we all get enough of that back in school?). 9) No more obnoxious, weird co-workers. 10) You work for yourself at home. You're not making some CEO or whoever richer while being underpaid.
Work From Home Or Office?
Why is working from home better than working in an office? Working from home allows one to be able to do his/her work with ease and also maintain a healthy relationship with their family. Imagine being stuck in the office for half a day and your boss suddenly comes up to you and asks you to work overtime. That would really piss one off. Working in the office also means that you have to be able withstand being reprimanded by your boss if you make even the slightest mistake. Having just enough work for yourself is great, but in the office, they tend to give you much more than just enough. Office politics is the worse politics you can ever imagine. You have to make sure everything is in order and you have to make sure that you are in your boss’s favor or else you can forget about that promotion or pay rise which you are wishing for. Working from home is best for people who wishes to spend more quality time with their family and loved ones, and also for those who are looking for an alternative job. Working from home can earn you some salary. And if you manage to get a grasp of what the online market needs, you might even find your riches there. There are several online jobs types available. There are online surveys, companies who wish to hire people to enter certain amount of data, article writers, so on and so forth. To get started working from home, all you need to have is a set of desktop or laptop and internet connection. With these, you are able to get started as soon as you like. Remember, there are no get-rich-in-one-day techniques out there. Everything is down to your willingness to work hard and learn. Working from home is a great choice as it lightens your workload as compared to a desk job and also allows you to have plenty of time with your family and friends.

Start a Work at Home Jewelry Business
Jewelry making is an ideal way to start earning a little extra money from home. You don’t need to spend a lot to get going. Initially your circle of friends will be your customers. Your friends will tell their friends, who will tell their friends, and so on and so on.
Though you may start with a kit or two for the learning experience, you can’t rely on kits if you want to make money selling your work. People will pay more for one-of-a-kind pieces. Plus, the mark-up on kits is quite high because another artist has done the design work for you. In other words, you can both charge more and keep your costs lower if you design your work yourself. This is how to maximize your profit.
A good place to start is by flipping through magazines and catalogues. Clip jewelry photos that appeal to you, along with price information if available. Get a notebook and fill it with the pictures.
You’re not going to copy them. This is just to give you ideas and get your creative juices flowing. The pictures will also come in handy when you can’t quite figure out how to do something you have in mind – kind of like your own illustrated how-to book.
There are two easy to learn jewelry making methods to consider: beading and wire sculpting, also know as wire wrapping.
Beading requires little skill other than a good sense of design and the materials are inexpensive.
Wire sculpting or wire wrapping is not that much harder to learn, but since you are dealing with gold, silver and genuine gemstones, the materials cost a bit more. But the markup is much higher.
Tools and Materials
Here’s a list of tools you will need to start:
1. Jewelers’ wire cutters - If you can only afford one pair, get memory wire shears. These are designed to make clean cuts on tough memory wire, so can also be used for softer wires.
2. Chain-nose pliers (sometimes called needle-nose pliers) – Very versatile for picking up and grasping small items, bending eye pins, closing jumps rings, even closing crimp beads.
3. Round-nose pliers – Used for creating loops on beaded head and eye pins. Can also be used for winding your own jump rings and as the second pliers you’ll need for closing jump rings.
4. Optional pliers – Wire-looping pliers which have several graduated circumferences to allow you to form perfectly uniform jump rings and loops (in place of the round-nose pliers mentioned above). Crimping pliers which have little notches to allow you to both flatten a crimp bead and then bend it to form a rounded finished look (instead of the flat crimp you get using the chain-nose pliers).
As for materials, I recommend some assortment packs of beads in coordinating colors, some decorative metal spacers, seed beads in both silver and gold (These can serve as spacers and beautifully set off your other beads.), tube-shaped crimp beads (Buy the best you can find – these are what hold it all together!), head and eye pins.
Other than that, let your choice of project be your guide. You might want some silver or pewter charms. For earrings, you would need ear posts or wires or clip-on bases. For bracelets, you need memory wire or stretchy cord or beading wire and clasps. For necklaces, memory wire or beading wire, clasps and perhaps pendants.
A bead board is a good idea too. Its ruled tracks help you measure and lay out designs for bracelets and necklaces; as well as to corral the beads you are working with at a given time.

7 Ways To Guarantee Success For WAHM (Work At Home Moms)
Are you a WAHM (work at home mom)? Or maybe you’d like to be one? You’ve made a great decision. As a work at home mom you get the best of both worlds. You are home with your kids so they are being raised by you instead of a daycare worker, and you also are making an income to support your family. Work at home moms have it all – the joy of their children, the mental stimulation of a career, and a stress-free, comfortable work environment. “Wait!” You say, “WAHM jobs are not stress-free!” Well ladies I’m here to tell you it can be done. Consider me your personal WAHM resource for solutions to your work at home problems. Follow these simple steps to create an organized and effective work at home environment. Key to Success #1: Create A Flexible Schedule Babies need to be on a schedule right away. In fact they thrive and actually cry less knowing that they can count on their needs being met regularly. For most babies you can follow a simple schedule of feeding time, followed by activity time, then sleep time. The length varies for each step depending on the age of your child. Activities also vary according to age. Your baby could be staring at a mobile turning above her, playing with brightly colored toys, reading a book with you, or banging away on a drum and singing. Here’s the key – your baby needs to learn how to play on their own as well. So during part of activity time you should allow your baby to enjoy playing alone. This will give you a little “you” time. You can keep a watchful eye on them from across the room, or depending on their age and if they are in a safe area, you can use a baby monitor. Be sure to watch for signs of your baby getting tired. If you delay putting them to bed you can actually miss the window of opportunity and you’ll have a very fussy baby who won’t go to sleep. At the first sign of a yawn or face and eye rubbing, it’s time to put them down for a nap. Then you can knuckle down and accomplish your work tasks. It’s very important for you to list your goals and action steps and do the most important tasks first. That way if baby wakes up early you have already done the most important thing for your day! Repeat this schedule throughout your day so you and your baby know what to expect and when. They won’t adapt to this overnight, be patient and keep at it. And remember that the length of each cycle will continually change as they grow. Stay flexible while still maintaining the cycle of feeding, activity then sleep. Key to Success #2: You Can Only Do What You Can Do This is so important for WAHM work at home moms. Think about it a second. You can only do what you can do. There is no sense in worrying that your day didn’t go as planned and you didn’t achieve this or that. Get used to it! You have an important job here, and that is taking care of your little one. Work is important and has its place but you have a responsibility to keep yourself healthy and sane. If your baby has a meltdown and you’re unable to get to your work for another hour, so be it. Don’t waste energy worrying or fretting about it. If you’re going to be successful you’ll have to work at odd times and make sacrifices here and there. Maybe you’ll do a little work after baby is in bed for the night, maybe you skip some TV time. Do what you can, when you can, and feel proud that you are taking steps every single day towards your goal – a happy baby and a successful mommy! Also, consider working for yourself in a home business instead of working an at-home “job”. You’ll have much less stress because you’ll answer to you, not your boss, and you won’t feel like you’re trying to compete with the others at the office. Plus, you’ll be earning money for yourself and growing your business instead of working to make your boss rich. Key to Success #3: Practice Good Self-Care During your baby’s alone activity time and his sleep time you can get a lot of work done. But don’t forget that you need to take care of YOU! Without you at your emotional best even the smallest thing can turn you into a walking time bomb. Take the time to relax in a hot bath, read an inspirational book, get a massage, take a walk alone, or whatever helps you to clear your mind and focus on you. You are the most important part of this equation! Key to Success #4: Ask For Help So often we think we’re alone, or that we’re weak if we ask for help. This is a time in our lives that we need help more than ever. We just can’t possibly do it all. So ask your family, friends and neighbors to assist your efforts. Whether it’s for babysitting (even if you’re there at your desk working) or buying groceries, enlist the support of others so you can have a break or accomplish a task. You deserve it! Key to Success #5: Exercise It doesn’t matter if you do yoga, go to the gym, walk the neighborhood, hike the trails or use a climbing wall. Be active every day. Exercise keeps you young, stimulates those “feel good” hormones in your body, refreshes you mentally, and helps get rid of those pregnancy pounds too. Don’t beat yourself up with an unrealistic exercise program. Just work it into your day. You can even space it out. Studies show that 10 minutes of exercise three times a day is just as beneficial as 30 minutes at one time. The important thing is to do it regularly, and preferably every day. Key to Success #6: Be Grateful Every Day This is so important. Do this in the morning while you brush your teeth, shower, or even while feeding baby. Run through in your mind everything you are grateful for. You can begin thinking “I am so happy and grateful that…my family is healthy, we have this roof over our head, we are warm and safe, my parents live close by, we have food in the pantry, I have the ability to work from home, I have the skills I need to succeed, I have access to the internet to maintain a business” etc… Don’t skip this step. It will put you in the right frame of mind to accomplish your goals every day. Key to Success #7: Maximize Your Work Time As a work at home mom your attention is constantly being pulled in many directions. It’s so important that the time you spend working is maximized. What do I mean by maximizing your time? I mean be sure that your efforts have a clear and substantial reward. It makes no sense to take time away from your children if you’re not well compensated. In my business I make at least $1000 per transaction, so I always know my time is well spent. You also want to utilize the concept of leverage in your business. There should be a system in place so that you do the work once, but keep benefiting from those initial efforts later on, without more time or input from you. Using these keys to success will create a happier and healthier you and baby, as well as a more productive business. As a work at home mom you need to be so careful to maintain balance in your life. Using a WAHM resource such as this, as well as other books or articles, can help you eliminate stress and accomplish more each day. For more information visit http://www.FollowALeader.com/wahm Remember these keys to success to protect your sanity and live at your best, and your personal and business success will grow every day.
